I just want to know if the pictures will come out clear?

Yes they will. If you print 8×10 or smaller they will be clear. The digital zoom will reduce quality so don’t use it unless you absolutely need it. Only optical zoom is worthwhile.
The described camera would be an entry level and should be very inexpensive. Probably less than $50.
theres alot of digital camera that can do better but if your not techsavy then yeah its a good dgital camera most of the shots come out clear(i have used that one before)
That sounds ok, not great.
If the picture is taken clear they will be printed clear.
With this camera you will need to follow a few rules to get the best pictures, like the lighting and so on.
I would personally go with a camera with at least 6 mega pixels.
Preferably Sony Cybershot, they are so easy to use and they have auto focus which brings most pictures as clear as you would want.
EDIT:
I found an inexpensive one like I described on amazon for £100 / $200 should be worth a look.

im sorry to tell you but 3.1 megapixel camras do not take good pictures. If you just want to randomly take pictures every once in a while i would recomend a 6.0-7.2 megapixel camra. If you are very serious about taking pictures I would recomend a 10.0-HD camra. be careful, the real good camras cost OVER 80$. Trust me, I had experience with ALL types of camras. =) , good luck
By the way , a 2 inch by 2 inch screen is a screen that you can ACTuALly see the picture on …..
I would NOTbuy a 3.1mp at all, not even for $50 brand new! Such a LOW resolution would not do you any good. For under $200 you could get a decent digicam with at least 6mp and 10x-12 zoom if you looked diligently. For $165 you could get the Kodak Z612 which has done me quite well or if you went to Radio Shack for the clearance you could get the Fuji Finepix S700 with 7mp and 10-12x optical zoom… and both have a EVF (electronic viewfinder) which when using saves battery power. The Kodak uses a lithium ion and the other uses 4 AA batteries. I recommend using SD cards by Kingston, Lexar, or Sandisk… and always shoot your pics in the highest resolution and picture quality. Yes, this will lessen the number of images on a card, but should you need a big print or crop any you’ll have plenty of resolution. You could get prints up to and possibly beyond 11×14! Do format your cards, and when shopping go to the maker’s website to preview the manual so you’ll have a basic idea of how it goes. Hope this helps.
