I'm looking to buy a digital photo frame for my boyfriend (hopefully this weekend b/c of sales?). A six or 8 inch screen would do. He's pretty savy w/ tehnology, but he doesn't want one w/ tons of bells and whistles. His would like one that doesn't require a cord (is that possible?) and not brown or leather frame. Also, does the color/type of frame make much of a difference in displaying the pictures? Thanks for your help. I'm almost brain dead from online searching, and don't feel like I'm getting anywhere - just more questions about them.

I want to be able to put the pictures on my digital photo frame, and the only way to do that is to move them from the camera onto the frame.

I have an HP Photosmart R837 camera. The pictures are sent to iPhoto, but when I connect the camera to my Mac, it seems that sending the files is a one-way street, and I haven't had any luck sending the pictures back onto the camera. The SD card doesn't show up as an external drive or anything that I can just drag-n-drop to...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I purchased a Curtis DPF712 digital photo frame for a Christmas gift but it does not read the usb thumb drive I insert into the usb port. It will read off of the digital camera card direct from the camera, but does not recognize the usb drive when inserted. IS it supposed to? Or is the usb port there for some other reason? Or is this unit defective?
